The fortified layers of the Golconda Fort inspired the notion of spatial protection and gradation, offering a clue into how architectural layering can mediate between exposure and shelter.

A key design driver was the desire to dissolve the stark distinction between the built and the natural. Through this lens, the architecture deliberately avoids hard edges, instead weaving together landscape and structure to create an immersive experience.

Ultimately, the School of Sustainability and Climate Change reclaims a sense of ecological and social connectivity. It demonstrates how thoughtful architecture can blur boundaries, enhance well-being, and reflect the interdependence of people, place, and the planet.
